Stroke & Turn Officiating Clinic

Stroke and Turn Judge is the only volunteer position that requires training, but don't be intimidated. The Lone Star Summer Swim League offers free training to volunteers so they may become Judges. There are rules for each stroke; the Judges are there to make sure that those rules are followed. The benefit of the doubt ALWAYS goes to the swimmer. And just because a stroke is ugly, doesn't make it illegal. This is a wonderful volunteer position that gives a great view of the race and helps to promote the integrity of the meet.

• Dates: May 15th OR May 21st (you only need to attend one)

• Also, there will be an opportunity to do on deck observations at Summerfield on 5/22, 5:30pm during their time trials. Attendees need to RSVP Chris Evans at [email protected]. Pool address is 2600 Fairfield Bend
